Were you waiting for the frameset (or complete build) for 7 months?

Nice, by the way ...

I’ve only taken it on a quick shake down ride. It handles pretty quick like a road bike but with the 47mm 650b knobbies it feels confident off-road. I think endurance/sport road geometry with big tire clearance is a good way to describe it. The RH juniper pass feel ok on the road and great on loose dirt and gravel. I didn’t love the buzz over 20 mph but that’s a trade off. I think I still like the Vittoria Terreno Dry more but I’ll give them a chance.

Please keep us posted when you get some more miles on it.

I like those 48mm Rene Herse knobbies. How much clearance do you have with them?

Very nice. I am envious as you celebrate New Bicycle Day. Enjoy!

Plenty of clearance. The frame can fit 650x2.4 so there’s room for Umtanum Ridge if you want.

Beautiful bike. I've been looking at Strael vs Secan. Will you be trying the Secan with 700 wheels at some point? I'm curious how well it climbs (vs the Strael).

I snagged those Astral WI wheels from the classifieds so I’ll be trying 700c in the near future. Anyone have a recommendation for a good value road centerlock for SRAM?

beautiful paint! The fairlight strael really had my attention for a while a couple years ago. Back then, I was surprised there wasn't more info/first had experience with them to be found on the forum, but it seems like Fairlights have been popping up more recently.

Iridescent Plum looks great on that! Love the build, looks like a shredder!

Curious about how these ride. I really admire this brand and their attention to detail with these frames. They look fantastic
