Bibs slightly more comfortable than the black Bibs
Love the price, comfort could be better. Suggestions? I'm a medium in the black bibs

I've got a few questions - What is your price range? In terms of comfort, are you talking about the pad/chamois? Compression of the fabric? Breathability? Comfort of the fabric against your skin? Straps?
Most bib comfort for me derives from the chamois/pad. That's not the only factor, but it's the most important to me. I like Rapha's pads. Some of my Capo stuff is solid. I've had some good Gore bibs. The cat's meow are my Assos bibs. Pretty much any variety. Last year I got 2 pairs of their lower-line bibs on sale and the chamois is top-notch. The bad thing about all of these options is that they aren't cheap/ Everyone's rump is different and likes different things - I could make recommendations all day long, none of which might work for you. Some of finding what you like is trial and error, unfortunately. |

Hincapie
I have been sporting these for the last few years and they have been a good durable and comfortable bib for the price.
I get a couple of pair a year at the bike flea market trexlertown in the spring. |

The very best bibs I own are Rapha classic but clothes and shoes, anything that you 'wear', it's the ultimate, YMMV... For right above, yup some editorial..hincapie? No thanks..not anything from him or guys like him(LA7 'olympic doping team'..

I just picked up a pair of Bellwether bibs from bikewagon on ebay. $45. Believe they are the cold flash model. Retail for around $120. In fairness I have not used them yet but seem very well made and the pad looks really nice. And they fit my booty great. Looking forward to trying them this season and will likely get another pair or two soon.

What's the biggest difference between the core or classic or pro rapha bibs?

I'll probably get the rapha core but... Any experience here with bontrager or specialized bibs?

I’ve had both Specialized and Bontrager. The higher end ones are nice but QC can’t match the Rapha stuff I’ve had.
Also consider La Passione. I just got some and like them a lot for short money. |

I have never tried the Rapha Core line. I'd like to hear from those that have about perceived differences. The Rapha stuff can be costly. I try to squeeze the life out of a nickel, and wait until they have sales before buying. Retail on this stuff is really painful. Even at a discount the prices can still make your eyes water. |
