OT: Anniversary, a pastry and a bike.
Several weeks ago I sold one of my last bikes to a nice guy who was an enthusiastic roadie newby and quite excited to have a nice bike. During our conversations I found he was the pastry chef for a local fine dining restaurant.
Yesterday was my 38th wedding anniversary so I booked a dinner at my new friends restaurant where we had a very fine meal that lasted several hours. Truly a very nice time. As the end drew near the waitress unexpectedly presented a “desert plate prepared by our pastry chef for you. Happy anniversary!” Wonderful. |

Wow how thoughtful and delightful to see that hand made bike atop there. Too cool. Happy anniversary!

Nice story.
I hope you're keeping a bike? Was this a restaurant in Spokane? Thanks, By |

It does look like a clown rodeo bike.
I assume the one he received had some trued wheels and a nice leather saddle. |
