My two former team mates who individually committed suicide within a year of each other, due to both of them being in hellacious divorce/custody battles. They were both funny characters and fast AF. Miss them.

So, James, which Lemond would you ride if that were to happen? Or, maybe not a Lemond, then what?

Davis Phinney, unbelievable snap BITD, but I was in awe of what I saw him do on the bike (make no mistake, I was in way over my head). He was 1/2 of Taylor Phinney who thinks a lot, and that would be a really cool conversation!

The Badger. A bonus would be if someone tried to block the road

Tough decision, but the following come to mind:

Puck Moonen.
Emily Batty.
Pauline Fernando-Prevot.
Kate Courtney.

Sagan would probably be a fun guy to ride with. I have a friend in Cali that I have not seen in close to 35 years. We used to ride together a bit. We have sort of reconnected through text and email. He has issues that prevent him from riding more than a short distance, but bike talk and pictures are part of the reconnect. It would be pretty cool to ride together again, and, have a chat while doing so.

I think it would be the Gentleman's Poodle & Grouse Society Lemond to see if he remembered them and would confirm the origin of these few bikes, why he had them done, how the frame was made (which version of an 853 tubeset), etc.
