7803 Front Derailleur Shifter question
I purchased these used and they look hardly used BUT I'm unable to thread the front derailleur cable into the shifter moving the levers is not moving the cable hook any ideas?.... Thanks

Mebbe try the 'universal' Shimano shifter fix: turn 'em upside down and dowse with copious amounts of WD40. Let sit. Dowse again and try working the shifting mechanism.
There may also be a bit of broken shifter cable stuck in there that ya can't see. Mike in AR

Well to my surprise I removed the shifter turned it upside down and gave it a couple of taps and it freed up the cable hook and all is well. It must of been stuck in the housing and operates perfectly now with the cable installed.
