Still selling

I'm planning on selling some things on eBay. Just been too lazy lately to post, but also thinking of using parts for a build.

You need a few more posts to list your stuff here.

An “end run” around the rules would be a mistake.

Not sure if this was covered in the thread. If so, apologies for the redundancy. Anyone know of the protocols for receiving a bike frame in the mail? Is it necessary to take precautionary measure and disinfect? If so, does soap and water suffice? Thx.

Wipe down the outside of the box then quarantine it for 12-15 hours.
Done.

I was in our post office yesterday, mailing an eBay shipment. Not selling very much though.

They have distance markings on the floor, the clerks have put up temporary plastic to reduce the "window" size where they are serving customers, most everyone I saw had gloves and masks including the counter people.

Also--if it is not eBay and you purchase USPS postage online, you can schedule a pickup--from your post box or porch.

No protocol for the frame itself?

Framesaver if it's steel.

Carnauba wax if it's painted

Lemon pledge if it's titanium

Other than that, I don't think there's much you need to do...it's probably been sitting inside that shipping box for a couple of days.

If you want to be really careful, give it a good scrubbing with dishsoap, rinse, wash your hands carefully, and then treat as above.

The dishsoap will do the same for the virus that washing your hands does... Note, you don't need anti-bacterial soap.

Note: I'm a sales coach and I have ZERO medical training.

This is what I’m looking for. Thx. Also: if all the medical advice on the Pandemic thread was limited to actual doctors, the thread would be much, much smaller

Note for the archives -- @quattro and I are separated by less than one slice of Kevin Bacon.

Why would you ever have less than on slice of bacon?

Guessing you guys work together? It's a small world after-all.

The movie Diner is one of my favorites... Bacon... diner...

Yum. Bacon. One of my favorite recipes is Shalane Flanagan's stuffed chicken wrapped with bacon. Don't tell my rabbi.

@quattro and I don't work together. Turns out his wife and I hang out together, and we were all neighbors at one point. We did both own identical rare high performance Audis (the urS6).

It is a small world... Just make sure you're up on your football trivia.

I live in Columbus, OH and sadly know (or care) next to nothing about football. Kind of an outlier around here.

Cars... I know a bit.

And, if the picture is of your dog and its a mini golden doodle, we have the same breed of dogs as well.

Well, since the departure of Tom Brady, New England is in a state of shock.

There is a bright spot - Brad Marchand!

And WRT cars...I was wondering about your handle!
