Working on track stuff for 2020, might be 2021 now.

Built a training wheel for my future track bike:

Modded a CycleOps 300 (shortened head tube), also related to track bike stuff:

Better view of the CycleOps 300, with the track bike lurking in the background:

Still have to convert the 300 to fixed gear. I fixed the broken computer mount on it (the grey jagged piece of plastic). With a 45 lbs flywheel the 300 is great for practicing standing starts. I'll also use it to figure out what kind of power I can put down at what rpms.

On the track bike I'm working on finishing assembly. I have to cut the post down 11 cm because my legs are short. Figure out the right bar/s, and get an appropriate stem/s for said bar/s. I think I need more chainrings too. Well, I know I do because I only have one.

I'm reorganizing the pain cave to add the 300 and rollers to the Zwift set up and mini home gym I have in place. It'll be tight but should be doable.

Hot Tubes

Well my Hot Tubes project is up and going. I took it out for a test ride to day and oh yea it's nice. I have a bit of fine tuning to do but after wanting a Hot Tubes for literally 20 years I finally have one.

Nice rear wheel on the Dolan, Corima C+? What disc is that on the front? I also have a new C+ currently held up at my cross border mail box, I can't liberate until the quarantine border rules are opened up again. Were you able to pick up the Cycle Ops, on Carleton's recommendation, inexpensively, looks like a good set up.

This frame was languishing in the discard pile of my co-op (rusted, frozen BB).
I was able to scrounge an old Redline Monocog fork from the pile as well for about $20 total.
Finally got the BB out and started to build up my 650b conversion dirt tourer. Pretty cool wishbone seatstays and plenty of clearance. Planning my 9YO's first bikepacking trip for the Fall (hopefully).

Helix Disc

Ok, test groupo on, test ridden:

Yes, I have a test groupo I keep around. Until I roll a bike I do not decide what it will ultimately get finish build wise, or caught and released. I don't keep sheit I don't luv. Especially this that the wheels are going to be huge coin for what I want to build. My hopes are [and Why I got the cable spyres] to put a SR 11s groupo on.

So my light but sturdy XTR disc set 29er on so I can roll it. 32mm @ 85 PSI, rear is tight, but with no paint and Ti, I am ok with the risk of a flat rub. With this economy situational/money Moratorium CV-19 has thrust upon us. Well, I almost sent the stuff Back to Lynskey.

Will ride it as is until after the shelter in place stops making so/too much sense. SS on Computrainer for now I guess for the interim...

The fit is VG, main box checked.

You chopped that head tube on a 45 below the clamp assembly? I can't wrap my head around that and how it now holds together...
