WTB - 56 cm Cinelli SC (vintage - pre '84)
Hey there fellow Paceliners,
I have a couple of older Cinelli SCs (early 70s) that are unfortunately, just a bit too big for me. They're ridable, but not an optimal fit. So my plan is to buy one that fits better and find new homes for the two that I now have Do any of you have a 55 or 56 Cinelli SC that you're interested in parting with? A frame and fork set would be the best case scenario. I would prefer a later frame from the "Flying C" Cinelli logo era that still uses a 26.2 post and has the "drilled" lugs (essentially '78-'83). However, open to other, earlier SCs that fit the size requirement. Not looking specifically for a show piece, but would like a nice one. Thanks! Texbike |

is this maybe of interest? ![]() For your consideration, 56cm, late 1970's Cinelli Super Corsa, this bike was hanging in a garage, then my living room for the last 35 years or so and has been ridden very sparingly This Cinelli is completely original except for the tires, cables & grip tape and is probably one of the nicest originals of this type you will ever find. The original paint and chrome are excellent and shine very well. The bike is equipped with it's original full Campy Super Record group set. The handlebars, stem and seat post are the original Cinelli, as is the mint condition saddle. The rims are mint Mavic Gp4's, tires are new and expensive Veloflex Roubaix tubulars. When replying, please include your phone number and best time to call. |

^ I knew I saw a WTB for a super corsa and searched all over (didn’t type in cinelli SC so OP maybe change your title)
I saw that bike last week and was going to forward it over. It looks sweeeet Although I remember the price being much lower..... Last edited by jtakeda; 10-07-2019 at 10:20 AM. |

That SC looks to be early 1980's, in the transition era, with the new style decals and fork crown, but the older 3-hole lugs.

Tex - I’m sure there’s some negotiating room in there. The market is flat, so you have some leverage. Beautiful bike imho.

Joe Bell repaint $3k ![]() For Sale today, a vintage 1976 Cinelli Supercorsa, fully restored in nearly mint condition. This was one of the very last Cinelli's build before the sale of the business to Alberto Colombo in 1978. Four digit serial number. New paint by Joe Bell with original factory decals. Parts were all mint or NOS at the time of the restoration. This could be a great rider or a vintage "show piece". This a modern Art at a steel of a price. Full Campagnolo Super Record group set. Cinelli bar and stem Brooks Pro saddle Campagnolo HI -LO rear hub. Very rare. Clincher wheels, can be changed to tubulars if you prefer for the proper vintage look. |
