I second (or third) the A23s. It used to be the only rim I would build with since they offer great colors and the price/weight is hard to beat. It also comes in an offset design for building rear wheels with a more equal spoke tension between sides.

As others have stated, velocity rims are usually great quality.

Also worth noting that they made another move and are in Michigan now, not Florida.
