Bikecomputerpro App?

I'm trying to help a friend. Anyone have experience with this app or have other suggestions?

His setup:

Amazon Fire Phone-Doesn't work with Google Play or Strava
Bikecomputerpro App

After his ride, the he uses the Bikecomputerpro app to upload to Strava because Strava isn't compatible with his phone.

Recently, every time he tries to upload from the app to Strava, the app gives him a message saying, "An error has occurred. Please check your credentials."

I'm guessing the Bikecomputerpro app must store his Strava username and password to log in to Strava and upload the ride info.

Something has changed, and I'm guessing it's probably a phone OS update is causing the problem. Tech support from bikecomputerpro has offered some solutions, none of which work.
