Show me your lugged steel
I am going to order/have a classic style lugged steel frame built soon with a steel fork.I am thinking about one of the pegorichie lugs and tubeset. I have a few ideas in my head now but would like to see some of the PL lugged beauties to get a few more Ideas on the frame I will be getting built.
I have a short list of builders already. |

Neat thing about lugs is the true artisan work a builder can put in vs tig. Long points, cut outs, chroming even. I built a frame back in 1976 (first one) I hand cut hearts in side of lug for something totally unique (back then).

I ordered a road bike from Ira Ryan in what it turns out was the final batch before he left to form Breadwinner with Tony. I believe mine (the dark one) is the last lugged bike he built. Hand-cut stainless lugs. I love this bike, and how versatile it is, and pretty. Now over 30,000 miles and typically I now add about 1800 to that per year (I have a lighter, faster road bike for chasing the faster people).
While I was waiting for it, one of his first came up for sale, and Ira confirmed that it was my size. So I grabbed it and had it repainted in the inverse of the dark one. That one (silver) has Cinelli lugs. |

Pick a builder and trust them.
I suggest not bringing too many design considerations to them, that's what you are paying them for. Trust. |

Not mine, I got several lugged steels that I can post but if you want the ultimate lugged experience, do a search here for threads started by user Dazza.
Here's just one example : https://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=146459

Skiezo,
What size frame and "add ons" (discs, fenders, tire size) are you looking for? My Hampsten Pro Team is 57x56 and could be available as a frameset. TC https://previews.dropbox.com/p/thumb...ue&size_mode=5
