This looks great.
It looks to be a smidge bigger in every dimension than an Outershell Drawcord bag, which I have and find to be a really useful size generally, though I also often want it to be just a little bigger. It does overstuff pretty easily. Its a little too close and redundant for me to be likely to buy one but I'll look out for a slightly larger version some day.
I have wanted the gps mount on the top flap for a long time and thought about modifying my Swift rando bag many a time with some homebrew version of this feature.
Also for the shims, it is probably that there are not enough a market for this to be viable, but I have grown to really dislike 31.8 things shimmed down to my 25.4 bars. No functional problems for me with gps mounts or my decaleur, but aesthetically it bugs me.

good luck with launch!

me too. I had to turn my samples back in and now I don't have one. After riding with one for a couple months I don't like riding a bike without it. Tune in Tuesday for the launch.

It literally looks like it hits all the right notes for a bar bag. I will absolutely be contributing to their kickstarter. Whenever the last post about this bag came up I was way excited. Happy to see a date on the calendar now

We will have a delivery date goal in the launch. Not sure what the target is right now but we have some people working on making sure it is realistic. The supply chain has been a bit complicated lately.

I'm in the same boat here. I find the Outershell Drawcord to be a great size for most rides and don't really have an issue with the mounting method (straps & bungee cords). For a bigger/heavier bag, I'd certainly want more robust mounting hardware.

Sign me up for a Routewerks when a bigger size comes along, good luck today!

rain..

how water resistant/ proof is the bag? Any specs on the outside material and zips?
Looks like a useful item for day rides. Good luck on the kickstarter.

It is made from water resistant materials but the seems will not be water proofed after sewing. We have done some testing in the rain and it does a good job at keeping the water out but if you ride long enough or in hard enough rain some water will start seeping in through those sewn seems. The lid is also waterproof which helps a lot.
