Suggestions for cycling jacket and jersey

Both my jacket (10 years of use) and long sleeve jersey (almost 9 years of use) are getting a bit long in the tooth, and I need replacements. Thinking of spending no more than $150 for the jacket and no more than $80 for the jersey.

The old jacket is this one:

And the old long-sleeve jersey is this one:

Want something similar to the aesthetics of those jerseys (I tend to like blues and navy colors a lot).

What I don't want is something like my wife's Castelli Mortirolo jacket. Though both she and I liked the styling, the reflective coating started to chip off after a few washes (on perm press setting).

The Rapha insulated brevet jacket is one of the best pieces of clothing I own. They have it dark navy with pink and white stripes, which is a pretty classy combination.

P.S. “scores of other fora.” Well done

Hope you are having a good new year. Shana Tovah

Velocio soft shell jacket is about as good as it gets IMO. The fabric is very comfortable I love the big zipper bc I can zip and unzip with one hand. High neck collar and front pocket for easy iPhone access.

Likely more than you want to spend, but I'll mention it since it's the same make as your last one. https://www.competitivecyclist.com/c...os-jacket-mens
Alpha ROS. I have two of the older Alphas, a friend has a version of this. Just great, versatile jackets. If you layer, you might be able to forgo a LS jersey with this, so maybe you could only get one item and stay in budget.

Medium jacket and small jersey, at least for those two articles of clothing.

Concur...Assos 851 and I like the older Rapha ProTeam jackets. The Assos doesn’t do well if you’re going to get a bit wet and neither does the ProTeam. The Rapha softshell is my fave in that case.
