I am a campy guy,30+ years now and have run most of the chains out there.
For campy drivetrains the campy chains are the quietest and last above average.
Wipperman sx chains are a close second. I feel cleaning and a quality chain lube are keys to chain longevity.

I know at least one crank maker (Rene Herse) says explicitly to only use a Shimano Ultegra chain for 10 or 11 speed: "When using with 10- or 11-speed, we recommend Shimano Ultegra 11-speed chains – even if you run derailleurs and cassettes from other brands, use a Shimano Ultegra 11-speed chain."

Any concern about using a KMC chain on a Campy Centaur 11 build? Tell me what chains you would use?

I finally got the whole group (the shipping/customs fiasco took 2 and a half months from Germany!) minus the chain so I've got to go shopping.
That's absurd. The other shimano 11s chains are indentical in terms of dimensions, just differ in finish.

Yup, KMC works great as does a Campagnolo 11s chain. I like Campag chains, use the pin(I have the tool), but when I take it off to clean, I re-install with a KMC quicklink.

I have a Campy Athena 11spd chain that I plan to install with a quick link. Does anyone have any experience with the YBN quick links? Someone told me they are superior to the KMC ones (which I have used with KMC chains without any problems).

The regular finish YBN chains are very similar to KMC. I think they are about even. BUT, DO NOT get the ones with the black finish!! It is not like the KMC DLC finish. It sucks and flakes off fast. The DLC finish last a really long time.

Sorry, my bad! I had to go look in my closet. It was sold to me as a Potenza chain, but looking at the box is is probably the C11 chain - Campy label says CN17-1114. The side plates are perforated.

I have a couple of the YBN quick links (silver, look well finished) and will try them when I switch chains.

Campagnolo. Done.

Use the best with the best. Campagnolo chains always, always, always test better or as good as almost any other chain (Record level.)

KMC-SL11 is what I have been running for the past year or so. I have also used Sram, Shimano and Campagnolo on 11spd Campy with no issues.
