Seat stays support a seat tube and yes they are different and nice looking.
Yep, just a mix up. Sometimes people make inadvertent mistakes that don't necessarily indicate ignorance!

The frames from that seller are so nice and minty. Expensive but worth it as they seem hard to find in such condition.

I was looking around on eBay and came across this seller in Italy, who has a lot of interesting classic stuff for sale, some NOS. Don't know if this has been posted before:

Sancineto - Lugged MAX !!

https://www.bricklanebikes.co.uk/san...frameset-565cm

Since folk were interested in Sancineto's, I thought I'd share this one.

Funny story, I've visited Brick Lane Bikes more than a few times. Its a fascinating shop chock full of vintage frames from Italy and the continent. I happened upon this very frame and while the staff was searching for a tape measure (while I repeated 55, 55, 55 over in my head), the owner turns to me and says I cannot sell you this frame. I was devastated until he showed my the rust in the drive side chainstay.

I later learned it was a 56.5 top tube AND the owner sent it to Rychtarski for new MAX chainstays and a repaint. Its been for sale for a few years now, so maybe the price is flexible? Nonetheless, its a unique frame sporting full Max lugs and fork!!

This one is NOT a Cinelli. The fork crown, lugs, and seatstays aren't correct. It doesn't even look like like a Centurion Equipe.

The geo would actually work petty well for me - but I think the price is completely unreasonable for a second hand bicycle. He’s in a brand new Moots category at that point. Maybe I don’t understand Firefy pricing.

I’d be tempted to bite around 6k, not 10k.

I know the seller and have seen the bike in person—it’s spectacular and in immaculate shape. I don’t think the price is ridiculous considering the brand and integrated rando build. How many Toei’s show up for sale? I’ve never seen one FS? They are like a Japanese Alex Singer.
