Bob, Looking at the moots, I am almost thinking that this might be the one ride that you actually keep for a long time.

Holy high end Jeff N. ! You're killin' me with those bikes ! Just beautiful man.. That's like having a Steinway, Bosendorfer and Fazioli in your house..

Out of the Seven, Serotta, Merlin and Holland, do you have a favorite ? Or they all are great and just a different ride from bike to bike ? Did you ever consider the Moots or Ericksen ?

I'd love to take a trip down there to Bill's shop in Spring Valley and get fitted for one. He's not all that far from me up here in Glendale.

Beautiful Moots too bobswire. I love the contrast between the red and ti. So many bikes...so little money..

I, too, have a Moots Vamoots (not pictured). Sweet ride indeed. Jeff N.

Poff -

PLEASE post the bike, once it's built, in the Gallery - I can't wait to see what you do with it - great paintjob!

My only ti bike in the herd right now. It is one of the 2 bikes Tom Kellogg built for Greg LeMond back in '90 (the proto of the Merlin Extralight). These were followed by more to outfit the entire Z Team.

This one is wall art, but I have the fever to get another ti frame for a daily rider (haven't had one in many years). I have been trying to gather info to make the choice...(thanks to Jack B for some good insight).

Some incredible bikes in this thread...

Awesome. That looks like a Baum paint scheme.

My Colnago CT-1, ti with carbon rear stays and fork. Have since swapped the Zipp crankset for a Record UT compact. I have a number of ti bikes and this one has become my "go to" ti ride for the past 3 years or so. Certainly an under appreciated member of the Colnago "family" in my opinion.

Are you sure that sled is Ti? From the pics it looks like graphite-epoxy (i.e., composite, not Ti).
