Source for bulk serrated brake caliper washers?

Hey all,

Anyone have a source for bulk brake caliper washers, specifically the skinny steel ones that look like this:

These suckers are expensive when purchased one by one!

Not interested in the thicker aluminum ones that don't bite as well and eventually break, so not these:

I would think that the external tooth are what you want, though the internal tooth might look better. The size would depend on the size of the bolt, I'm not sure what the typical size would be. They do list the ID and OD of the washers so you should be able to measure the ones that you have to get a good idea.

one would think those are pennies each, tops.

kinda like how i needed a simple alu m6 washer with an ID of 6.4mm, can't be more than a few pennies each and even though i only need 4, i assume i'll be buying a bag of 10-20 or so.

alas, NOOOOOOOOO sorry not available but hey the manufacturer of the product for which i need this extra washer sells them for TWO DOLLARS EACH.

i feel your pain. a benign item that in ordinary times is an almost throwaway item....but now....."supply chain."

here's an idea: home depot (or good hardware store if you've got one) stainless washer or two in an M6 or whatever you need (and 1.5-2mm thick) then get a thin stainless serrated washer of similar ID and OD to mount in front of that, one side against the fork crown and the other side against the m6 washer. that should get you down the road for pennies.

rant over. good luck!
