Yes! I had to hurry. Lots of lightening behind me that didn't make the video. Fun! 😁

Here she is, a carbon fiber Sarma Shaman pictured here with 3" tires rather than the typical 4" tires I use for winter riding in the snow.

I hope to know soon enough my friend, just as soon as Giant is able to fill orders on the bike of my dreams -- another month or so.

Monday Morning Loop on a Wednesday

I haven't been doing much riding lately after a summer full of more longish rides than I've done in years. The break has been nice as my attention has turned to my golf game, and that season is quickly coming to an end. I made it out today, though. I did a route I used to ride on Monday mornings before my afternoon shift at the salt mine when I was still employed. I loved that part of my weekly routine.

I sorta rediscovered my road bike this year and left my Sarma sitting idle in its place in the garage for much of the summer. I swung a leg over it a couple days ago and hit the single-track trails 6 miles away. It's so much fun out there. I promised it that we'd get out much more in the coming months for some fat-biking in the snow.

Global Fat Bike Day 2018!

I don't think we could've asked for better weather and riding conditions here in the Minneapolis area for this annual event. Lotsa fun!

Not mine, but a promo video my friend put together for the group I ride with..

Every Saturday in the off-season it's the same 30mi loop w a coffee stop. And it's drawing in a great group of people who share a love for bikes and camaraderie - which is what I'm all about these days. There's one traffic-free climb where folks can go all-out w a regroup at the top, otherwise it's riding together and just enjoying being out there doing our thing.

I share this because I think it's the model that's needed to revitalize road riding - and it's one that's probably replicable anywhere.

The club kit being developed is pretty sweet too.

Awesome video, Clean39t! In the past few years I too have allowed my cycling room for social rides where the emphasis isn't on a workout. I enjoy the change of pace.

First run using a 360 camera mtbing

This was the first time our group used a 360 camera and my friends first try at editing 360 video. This camera makes it look so smooth.
