7 Wonders & Ticket to Ride are two of our board game night’s favs.

For two players we like Blokus, Othello, Jaipur. Or “play” with puzzles.

I really like it, kids enjoy it, but the wife, for some reason doesn’t. Years ago Avalon Hill had an auto racing game, I think called LeMans, with similar structure.

We regularly play Catan, Carcasonne, and Tsuro. We discovered Tsuro in a public library years ago while waiting out a rainstorm on vacation. Simple to learn and plays pretty quickly but does require some strategic thought.

We play a number of board games, and one of our favorites is Sequence. It only works well with 2 to 4 players, but it's a fun game.

Azul is a favorite, both strategic for us competitive types but easy to learn and play for casual players.
