Yeah, but the latte can't be used as emergency brake fluid or tire sealant.

Me too, honestly I don’t understand the stiff comments. If stiff means it rides as expected wherever you point the bike, then it’s stiff.

It’s smoother feeling in the rough stuff than my previous steel bike with similar setup.

Good bike. Underrated. (Almost) infinitely adjustable on the stack....which should let you size down.

"stiff" is a feeling. some people feel a bike is "stiff". others do not.
for me, when i say "stiff", the ride of the Stig was JARRING. bone rattling jarring. even at 30 psi for 40 mm tires.

on the same trails, with the same tires/wheels, at the same psi my Ti gravel bike is so much compliant.

That looks like a deal compared to some of the other offerings. $3,300 with Force 1, complete.

Get the Stigmata if you are looking for a snappy performance focused bike. Get the Warbird if you are looking for a smooth efficient all day bike.

I think the Warbird is one of the most stable comfortable gravel bikes I have thrown a leg over, but I loved my second gen Stigmata as well. The newest version is supposed to be a bit smoother ride than the Generation I had, but Santa Cruz makes a great bike.

Never heard of Wilde, but I like this: “We use full round cable guides on the stays as we find plastic zip ties on high-end bikes to be an inelegant compromise.”

Surprised not more love for the Warbird. I have a newer Warbird, replaced a Niner RLT Steel frame. I’ve had plenty of high end carbon, steel, Ti bikes and the Warbird is spectacular. The fit could not be better if it was custom. The Warbird has been around for awhile and the new version is pretty refined. Has a lot going for it.

I had one last season and it is a killer bike! One of my favorite gravel bikes to date! Extremely stable and even did well in the snow with a 650b setup.
