Sram Force Hydro.... Where do I put my fingers?

So racing recently on the Boone with Force1 Hydro and I keep having issues with my right hand (or right fingers specifically). When riding on hoods, I normally keep 2 fingers covering the brake, which is plenty for hard hydro braking. But it smashes my other 2 fingers into the bars, limits lever travel and thus limits braking power to maybe 30% of max. Left had is brake only, so no shift lever in the way and braking is fine. And this is obviously not an issue when riding in the drops.

I've been trying to get used to pinching the shifter with my thumb/first finger, but it feels very sketchy to not have any fingers gripping the shifter hood.

Anyone else noticed or dealt with this? And what did you do to resolve it?
It seems that the Force Hydro brakes aren't able to be adjusted for lever pull.

Same exact issue, you’ll need to upgrade to hope rx4 plus calipers to remedy. They are fantastic and a much better caliper.

I posted essentially the same thing a few months ago.

Somehow I never saw that thread! Thanks. I'll try the fixes that were offered then, and last-resort look into new hardware.

Edit: I shoulda read the linked thread, everything I wrote is already covered there

I'm guessing you've tried messing with the reach and bite-point adjustments?

If that didn't work perhaps try over-bleeding the rear (use a bleed syringe to over-pressurize the system a bit) and if THAT doesn't help then yeah, RX4+ (if you can find them).

I just checked and this lever doesn't have the adjustment. I'm going to try the "squeeze the pistons closer together by trial and error" method first. And then the overfill/pressurize. That was my first thought initially anyway.

You might also try to new pads/rotors. I like Galfer (I think this is what your calipers take) Pro compound. They work best with Galfer rotors (and are fine with all the rotors I've tried).

SRAM recently released their 2mm thick rotors (called HS2 iirc) which might help too..

So far, at least in the workstand, doing the "squeeze to advance the pistons" seems to be working just right.
