Trek Crockett CX bike

So this is end result from my paint stripping project ( https://forums.thepaceline.net/showt...light=crockett )which took this Pink Trek Crockett (not exactly sure the year) and converted it to brushed aluminum or bare look. The Pink was a great color and I liked it for few years but the appeal wore off and I've always coveted that bare bones look. Gotta say I’m uber pleased with how it turned out. Especially considering that at one point I had thought I had ruined the frame with all the different chemicals I had doused it with.

Still planning on putting TREK logos back on but happy with it for now.

Mix of SRAM 11 speed and currently sporting the worlds worst 700x35 touring tires

Thanks for looking

Thanks!! I certainly wasn't opposed to the Pink.....but the desire for a raw frame was far greater and I also enjoy little projects like this

Finally threw a decal on this thing and I gotta say I’m pretty impressed with how “stock” it looks (if I do say so myself)

Size and name of tire please? Looks like Panaracer but there's a few models.

Honestly, if I still had my Pink Crockett, I'd probably get another one just to do up like that!

I use to have a Six13 with 3 carbon tubes I wanted to stripe, those look like sex on 2 wheels also polished up. But my paint was like perfect, shoulda done it...
