YBN Chains? on Campagnolo drivetrain

Anyone tried and/or using YBN chains on a campy 11s setup (not the Titanium $200 one, but the Ti-Nitride coated ones)? Typically I use chorus or record, but thinking about one of YBN's more blingy options.

I've tried them (incl the all ti one) on Campy 11 and Shimano 11 drivetrains. They work but are slightly noisy compared to a true brand chain. They are nice looking but the black ones, flake off horribly. LIke not worth the trouble since the black coating builds up in the chain. Excellent for a show bike tho if new.

thanks. Sounds somewhat like the KMC SL chains I've tried then.

Not sure, any thoughts whether this finish would wear off?

That finish (in the picture) won't wear off. The DLC coating on the KMC chains is very different than the finish on the YBN chains. The YBN is almost like a baked on paint vs the DLC is almost like cerakote finish. The DLC is much more durable that the YBN finish.

fwiw, this was a picture of a YBN chain -- they call it Rainbow plating.

SRAM does the same on the XX1 Eagle chains. They look super cool. Not sure on how long they last finish wise.
