Handlebar plugs

Any that would be recommended.

Shortened the start of a wrap I don't want to do over yet.

I like some aluminum ones seen on Amazon.

I'm not sure of the question. Do you need plugs that extend over the end of the bar (like the old Benotto that came with plastic bar tape) or just plug the end, like 99% of the dozens in my parts bin?

Not sure I understand the problem, either.

Is there not enough bar tape inside your bar to secure your existing plugs? Just wrap some electrical tape around the plugs before you insert them, and they will snug right up.

It seems that jtbadge has addressed the OP's request. So, let's hijack…

For those looking to go high-zoot, KustomCaps does some nice ones and I believe that what they offer in headset cap customization also applies to bar ends (at least, they did some for me).

I bought some cheapo ones on eBay that came from China. It eventually showed up and works as designed. The plastic bar end plugs that came with Lizard Skins bar tape I'm currently running one came loose and eventually despite attempts to secure it will sit for eternity somewhere out enjoying nature (since it probably won't decompose naturally for hundred thousand years or so).

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-Pair-Bicy...72.m2749.l2649

Waited until I had some eBay bucks to to buy it honestly. Until this set showed up I used a spare mismatched bar end plastic plug leftover from the last time I bought some bar tape for another bike. That one didn't really want to stay very secure either without heavy shimming.

The bar ends that come with Supacaz tape are nice and tighten down with a small allen bolt, which means you can wrap the tape flush from the end of the bar and not worry about stuffing it in the ends (which I never get to look 'pro'). They sell them separately ($12).

PRO has some similar ones that work great.

I’ve switched over to the aluminum expander type ones, you can get them for like $6 a set on eBay.

I prefer wood, cork, or rubber to aluminum. Brooks and others. Simple, understated, light-esp the wood/cork.

Velox makes the old school ones similar to those pictured without the fancy colors (just black). Every once in a while I’ll get stuff from Cinelli (wingedstore.com) and I’ll toss in a few of their anodized plugs which look nice. They cost about $5, as opposed to the $20 or so from eBay sellers.
