I've already posted once in this thread about my Panasonic and my Moser but since then I've ordered a Serotta Heritage Cross in steel. Russ has assured me the ship date will be Monday or Tuesday. Woo Hoo!

Vanilla

Been rolling on a lugged steel Vanilla road bike for a year now, it's smooth.
I need to post day pix.

Serotta Colorado III
Serotta CSI
Serotta Colorado Legend CRL
Croll Reynolds 531
Grandis Columbus SL

Zanconato on the way

The Croll and CSI will likely go on the trading block. Gotta thin the herd with the Zank on the way.

I'll add a few:

Mid '90s Serotta lugged steel Rapid Tour
Late '90s Richard Sachs numbered Anniversary
1980 Richard Sachs one-off (wife's bike)
1975 Richard Sachs early serial number (for my out-of-town friends, too big for me)
1981 Bianchi Campione del Mondo (wife's bike)
Mid '80s Dawes Echelon

Tom
In Melbourne, FL (where I did a quick 40 on the Dawes yesterday)

Thumbs up

Now that I think about it, all my sleds are steel. All but one have steel forks, too. (Guess I think steel bikes just look and ride better with steel forks designed together with the frame).

Current lineup:

2002 Ritchey Road Logic - simple race bike
2001 Waterford allrounder (based on an RS-22)
Late 80s Land Shark (lugged Giro '88-ish replica)
1999 Yamaguchi aero road
1971 Cinelli Super Corsa
1964 Alex Moulton F-frame
1999 Surly Steamroller fixie cyclocross
1970s replica boneshaker/penny farthing (48" hi-wheeler)

A nice 'n wacky cross-section of steeldom.
