I had 7 forks over the last 4 years arrive with the wrong graphics or steerer or brake mount or dropouts. I got super tired of them shipping the wrong piece. At one point I had a $2k credit on my account. WHY? Cause they would never apply it to my orders. They would just keep billing me again and again. Recently, I ordered one of the K-Edge computer mounts. Guess what they sent me... just the plastic insert. Not the actual mount. Just the plastic insert. I am not super thrilled with their customer service.

Not to pile on, but I also got one of the Garmin stem (out front) mounts. Put it on there only to find that the plastic insert would not stay stationary in the mount, and so I couldn't properly affix the Garmin. Oh well....

Well this would be an issue with the K-Edge mount. If you reach out to them, they are fantastic to deal with. They can help.

Actually, I've got a few K-edge mounts and they're great. They have a fixed baseplate. This new one that I've got is made by Enve and it mounts into the face of the stem. Not sure the connection with K-edge, but thanks anyway!

Same, many times.

K-Edge makes the new stem faceplate computer mount. I got one in for a gravel bike with a full Enve cockpit upgrade. I didn't have an issue with the mount other than they didn't send it the first time and only sent the Garmin plate.

No worries. The new mount they offer has a Go Pro/light bracket under the Garmin mount. It's pretty nice.

Just to update: I reached out to the shop they were purchased and they have replied that they are unacceptable and they want them back as they believe they are not safe and shouldn’t have even been sold to me.
They’ve offered to have another pair sent as replacements or refund.

I’ll probably send them back for a refund and get some zipps, rovals or corimas I guess.

Another option is if it's a Campy freehub, get a Campy wheelset. They have the new WTO 33's out now. And of course the WTO 45, Bora One and Bora Ultras. All excellent wheels with a stellar reputation.

If they are Shimano free hubs and you want something great but not overkill, Hunt makes some excellent wheels. I've had great success with them. I sold 21 pair last year. All are still running just fine. And of those 21, 16 are gravel wheels. So they are getting some abuse.

But that's great the shop is stepping up.

As someone who has built and sold plenty of Enve rims over the past decade but doesn't any more: those imperfections would put that pair of rims in the top 10% of their production quality.

uh oh...

Just purchased a set of M525’s for a new gravel build. It’s been a few years since I’ve purchased any Enve wheels, hope I’m not dissapointed.

Good plan...Fulcrum? Campagnolo?

Fulcrum? Campagnolo?

Easy to make 'em shimano compatible.

I forget about Fulcrum. Which is sad cause they are excellent wheels.

Quality Control on my last 3.4 purchase was worse than the OP.

Sent back immediately and got them relaced. They were good about it but it was an avoidable hassle if someone had inspected the hooks...
