Removing FrameSaver from top of seat tube
Looks like I got a bit too enthusiastic when I applied FrameSaver to my Master Olympic. Now I am having trouble inserting the seatpost to the proper depth.
What's the best way for me to clean up the inner upper part of the seat tube, without corrupting the existing FrameSaver below... Thanks!

Tooth brush with a little solvent on it. Maybe WD40 or mineral spirits.

Flex hone

I’ve had luck with WD40 when I’ve gotten that stuff on the outside of the frame. A little on a rag, using a stick and you should be good.

Thanks...I think I'll start with WD40 and a toothbrush. I'll orient the frame so the gunk runs out of the top, rather than into the bottom bracket...
If WD40 doesn't do it, I'll try GooGone or similar solvent. Have to remember to follow that up with something else...I left a chain in GooGone overnight and the chain rusted like crazy... Not sure I want to mess with a flex hone...they're expensive and I don't want to be taking any material off the inside of the tube...
