So, for me, the start for securing bikes in the garage would be to remember to close the damn door before driving away!!!
CRAP! I did it again today!!!

Place a note card on your dash after you park so you'll see it when you drive out.

And again, what size frame do you ride?

Then they just lift the door up for entry. It's probably a good idea to remove the handle or tape it up so it can't be snagged from outside the garage.
I use a zip tie for the garage door t handle as shown in the video linked below.

I have 4 or 5 bikes hanging on J-hooks from my garage joists. I purchased a 20ft Kryptonite Cable and Keyed Padlock, and weave it through all the frames. It's not much, but it's enough of a deterrent to keep away "crimes of opportunity." If someone really wants to steal my bikes, the would figure out a way to do it. Unlocking isn't much of a hassle, the cable is flexible and the coating glides right through the frames. A chain would be a nightmare.

The lock and cable were <$50, which is the going rate for an ounce of prevention, I think.

Or get one of these new wifi enabled openers which can tell you if it's open and allow you to close it. This particular brand has a partnership with Amazon where you can share a "key" with them and they'll deliver packages into your garage (opening and closing the door) -- I get there needs to be a lot of mutual trust there.
