Campagnolo Triple Front Derailleur Braze-on
I'm changing the gearing on my Rambouillet from 9-speed Chorus Double to 9-speed Campy Triple, in part using a recently sourced Comp Triple Rear Derailleur.
Are there any functional differences between the various front derailleur offerings? Thanks for your input.

The only problem i can think of is

I've measured cage width on Campagnolo triple FDs and found 9 speed and 10 speed to be the same. I think any of the 9/10 models would work fine.

In fact....On one of my bikes....I'm currently running a Centaur 10's triple Crankset with 30-42-50 (Stronglight 50) and a Campy triple FD of same era. I had originally thought this was not going to work because the "grooves" in the FD would be in wrong place for 8 tooth difference between 2 large rings....but nope....work fine, and I'm not even putting the FD higher up than normal. Running a 12-30 10's Centaur cassette in rear with a med cage Campy 10's RD. Could run a 52 front ring, but don't really need or want a 52X12 top gear.
