9100 shifter update

I can say that this story has a happy ending. I contacted Competitive Cyclist and with some back and forth (pics and a video) they sent me a replacement shifter and cables (even sent it via next day air).

The process was about as easy as could be and I can't say enough good about CC's customer service. Pretty awesome and got my bike back up and going with limited downtime.

Still no idea what the problem was/is.

Rare as it is, when new Shimano parts have an issue there is usually a good outcome.
I knew one guy who had some issue with his new Ultegra wheelset, and Shimano's reply was to replace it with a new Dura-Ace wheelset!

Here's hoping the new shifter and cable work great!
