Love this site. Just hopped on my public library's web site and one of the partners in our regional consortium has is available. On it's way to my local library for me to enjoy!
Still have Fignon's
We Were Young and Carefree on my reading list too. I can highly recommend
Slaying the Badger too.
For me these were the classic days of cycling; seems like many here this was my introduction to Euro racing (well, maybe a couple years earlier but the LeMond/early 7_Eleven era was what I recall. Heck, I even liked Yanni's soundtracks for Paris Roubaix and Tesh's TDF scores (ducking). I can still hear Phil saying "and there goes Vanderaerden..." as Eric took off covered in mud hair, flying in the wind.
