I have never paid that much for a pair, but I wait for deals and then stock up.

GP5000 AS TR, you can choose cream wall or transparent, they are very resistant to cuts, as opposed to Vittoria, Challenge, Veloflex that I have sliced to bits. Wish I hadn't they are just that bit faster.

I've had good luck with Victoria corsa tires. I also like panaracer agilests and paselas, the latter being more durable.

I have enjoyed Soma Supple Vitesse. Some people think they are flat prone, but I rarely flat. Soma is currently running a 20% off sale.

I absolutely love Veloflex tires. Their tanwall tires are the best looking tanwall tires.
