Vermont 200k – May 5th, 2018
Here's a great tune-up ride coming up in 5 weeks. Mostly pavement, only one significant sustained climb (Brandon Gap). Plus lots of carbs on the route.
"Known as “The Bakery Brevet” where you can eat breakfast all day long, this ride aims to mix stunning scenery and varied terrain with some enjoyable control stops along the way." http://nerandonneurs.org/nersite/?p=1352 I'm riding it, I'm sure I'll be shattered at the end, but considering the entry fee ($10) and the fact that it starts 7 miles from my house, it's hard to pass up. Hope to see some of you there. Last edited by scharny; 05-01-2018 at 12:17 PM. |

I did it two years ago. It is a great route. Wonderful descent from the gap. Lots of beauty, but you are used to that living up there.

And it's happening again... this Saturday. Weather looks great. More dirt road than last year.
