The idea of a "Black Friday" has always been an invention of the retail industry. So there's nothing stopping retailers from putting "Black Friday" on any day they want.

Caveat Emptor.

Last year the 65" Samsung QLED that I bought at Costco BEFORE BF was actually cheaper and a better all-in deal than the actual BF price/deal.

And yes to my annual Honey Stinger buy.

Historically, BF deals are NOT the best deals you can find. You get the doorbusters, if you want a TV made for that store missing some feature but on most stuff big savings are better found other times of the year. The thing that make BF such a draw is EVERYBODY has something on sale. They almost have to to get anyone into their shops or sites.
Except REI, of course.

Just got the Black Friday email from Texas Cyclesport. I haven't looked at the deals but here's the message:

If anyone comes across a way to find Rene Herse tires on any significant sale, through coupon or general sale, please post. Loving my Steilacooms, but I need a tougher version, and may as well go bigger too with some Hurricane Ridges. RH are generally excluded from coupons where they are sold, but sometimes things fall through the cracks.

Keep in mind- integrated crown race 1 1/4" lower, 395 A/C "gravel/cross" fork will limit the ideal applications for this fork.
