The Last Rider - Greg LeMond

Looking forward to seeing this. As a young teenager in 86 he was my inspiration that got me into road racing.

Sorry but I don't buy his 'clean' claim. He means it in the same context as all the rest, as in didn't get caught or was using 'assistance' of something not on the list. That's just how it works in cycling because if your competitors are than you must too or go backwards on the road. Nothing against Greg personally, if they want it bad enough to drug along with everyone else in the field have at it. They are after all is said and done, entertainers. It's why they are paid.

Can you show any evidence for Lemond having violated any rules in place at the time he was an active rider?

Your unsubstantiated claim seems to indicate otherwise.

Same. Lemond's '86 Tour win was my inspiration to get into cycling.

At the risk of turning this into a(nother) doping thread,

-- Plenty of evidence that doping was prevalent in cycling starting in the 60's and maybe before.
-- Plenty of evidence that most of the greatest of the greats, including Anquetil, Merckx, yada yada, were caught or admitted using Performance Enhancing Drugs sometime during their careers.
-- If Lemond didn't dope, it would be incredible
-- If Lemond did dope, it would be disappointing but not surprising
-- Either way, Lemond is one of the greats and I have no evidence that supports either claim.

Looking at his results as a minor has me to believe otherwise. Take some time to look at his results and who he was racing against. It’s astonishing.

I also think the location of where he was training at as a kid has a lot to do with it.

No need to conjecture, Greg LeMond never doped. Simple as that.

I doubt the one and only movie theater in town will ever consider showing this and hope that it can be streamed after the initial release.

It's a remarkable story.

Same here; I don't see it getting shown in Kingman, AZ, or Worland, WY.
