I respectfully disagree with Angry. 28s definitely look like the right call to me. Agree with him that it’s a great bike, though!

still blazing after all these years
I ride this thing so infrequently that every time I take it out it feels like a brand new bike. This sensation is heightened in that all my other bikes are heavy as all hell; the vamoots is probably over 20lbs too, heh.

Dayam! You were a me to stuff 30mm tires?! Did you ever take a photo of how much clearance you had between the tire and chain stays?
I have a 51cm CR and i have about 2mm on each side with tires that inflate to about 27.5mm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

No photos at the stays but clearance was super minimal, def rubbed pedaling out of the saddle. Looked killer though!
