I'd have already snagged it if I were a local. I have a co-worker hear there but it's not like we're buddies, and I'd have to get him to drag it to town next time he's in the city.

Seven Axiom SL - 61cm TT - fits 32s - 5E Fork - eyelets for fenders.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Seven-Axiom...B/292830717490

I can put you in touch with the owner via FB - he's willing to deal and it looks like an excellent ride (just a bit big and duplicative for me).

wow what a great frame. i do think it is worth between $1000 and $1200. actually it might even be worth less $800-$1000 but i will stand by my originally assessment because of the direction of custom bikes in general i.e. gravel. gravel is all the rage now.

Call me old school or whatever...but I don't understand all this gravel/disc brakes/fat tires thing. Throw electronic groups and non-standard BB's in that pile too. I'll go with sloping TT's and 44mm HT's but that's it...keep things simple! But, again, that's just me. That SEVEN for sale is worth every penny of the asking price, IMO. Heck, that fork alone goes for over 5 Franklins new!

IMHO - their asking price is definitely reasonable for the condition, tubing spec, and fork..

And by asking price, I mean 10-13% off the eBay list price for a direct sale.

the prices that serotta legends and ottrotts have brought recently leads me to that pricing. it looks to be a very attractive well taken care of bike frame. sizing makes it a harder sell particularly with a 61tt. titanium bikes are tending towards gravel at this point in time. road bikes it is all about carbon fiber. not saying i agree but that is the reality of the marketplace currently. anyway i hope someone here grabs it.

so i wrote to the seller to ask if sloping tt. not! horizontal. see picture i ask him to send me. still a nice bike albeit horizontal tt for the purist. i still think the frame is worth no more than $1000 max.

Hmm... Is it just not to your taste or do you think the horizontal top tube actually reduces the frame's value?

I would suggest that perhaps the XTRA long TT, and lack of slope (say, 3-4 degrees) thereof, brings down the desirability considerably, if not the price. I would GLADLY take that fork off his hands, if the price was right and the seller is willing to split things up.

I don't get the aversion to horizontal top tubes. In this case, the long top tube is a problem for me, but that clearly affects fit. A horizontal top tube just means you use a slightly shorter seatpost, all other things being equal.

ah ha! Just saw this. This is actually mine. I put it on eBay for a high price because of the crazy fees and whatnot. Anyone on here can have it for hundreds less.

Regarding the lug weld. I think they just skimped on the cleanup work. I see similar weld in other spots of the frame. They completed sand-blasted the frame before they repainted it, and they had it for over a month so if there was a cause for concern, I think they would have addressed it. I think its on the side of excess material that wasnt sanded off rather than lack of material.
