That's a nice Masi.
Remember, those STs were measured C-T, so more like 62.5 C-C.

64cm Serotta CSI ? $400

This would fit me perfectly, 64 x 62. I'm not a Serotta'phile so who can tell me more about this model?

Serotta considered the CSi their top-tier steel bike. Broadly it’s recognized as one of the best. $400 is an excellent price!

Yeah... as far as classic lugged steel goes their may be others in the same class as the CSI but I doubt any outclass them. $400 is a very good buy.

If that fits you, it's a no-brainer. Even at frame-only, that would be a good price. To have 6400 and a Dura-Ace crank is the icing on the cake.

Budget for a new saddle and handlebars, otherwise you're good to go.

I email them - here's hoping. And here's hoping one of my SF friends is willing/able to pick it up before I'm actually there.

Please buy it to keep me from succumbing to my N+"don't need it" urges.

That Serotta is gorgeous. It's a little longer than I like, but what a deal. I remember seeing it months ago and thinking it wouldn't last. I think someone here even said the seller was legit. All I know is it's hard to pass up.

Sure, it's $400 that I hadn't budgeted or planned to spend, but such a great price!

I'm reminding myself that I'm all 650B, fat tire all the time, that I won't ride it. But I might!

I mean if anyone in the city near the panhandle would like to represent my interests and are willing and able to hold onto it for her a couple weeks, I'd be thrilled and with happily buy you a beer at Mikkeler bar or wherever you wet your whistle.

Did anyone here pick up that 64x62 CSI?

Anyway, stumbled across this one on the Orange County Craigslist:
https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/...710227607.html
$700 GT Edge, 61cm

Seller's description:
GT Edge 853 Steel Road Bike.
Fillet Brazed welding style with buttery smooth joints. Full 9spd Dura Ace parts, except for the cassette. 10spd Ultegra hubs with semi aero rims.

You don't see many production fillet bikes, nor many fillets on 853. A clear nod to their olympic bikes, there. And 9-speed DA is still gorgeous!

That GT Edge went quick.

More than half off on a 2 year old 62cm Gunnar Sport. I wish it was a 66 or 68.

Nice

Great deal. If I wasn't already awash in road bikes I'd strongly consider this. If this was a Crosshairs or Hyper X, I would have hit the BIN button already.
