Hard to say without knowing the seat tube angle.

if you assume the TT is the hypotenuse with a 2 degree slope you'd be a little less than 60cm. Maybe my math or assumptions are wrong though...

The ETT is the hypotenuse, so the actual TT is shorter.

The likelihood of someone getting the ETT measured perfectly is quite low, as is them getting even a precise actual TT measurement, so this is all a crapshoot without the actual build sheet. And that's without adding in the unknown STA (though per my eyes it looks pretty normal - probably 72.5). Assuming this is a custom of course...

And people wonder why the used custom market is soft...without accurate measurements, a frame is only worth a fraction of what it could/should go for...

Not sure if this was responding to me; my point was that a ~61ett could be too long or too short depending on the STA and rider’s preferred saddle setback.

i was planning on bidding on the legend if there were no other bids but now someone bid to save me from myself. like others it would have been a compromise in fit. to me compromise=bargain price or not interested.

FYI, I think my blue-and-yellow Legend (62/59) is going up soon. Haven't decided yet to go just F/F or complete bike. Will advise.

Negative. Wife out of town for work and toddler wouldn’t goto sleep so I missed the final bid snipe. Pretty upset considering it would have been a $400-500 frame after you get rid of group and wheels...

Elefantino - also interested.

Big C40 Mk2 Art Decor in Ventura, CA - $1500

Vague ad, doesn't even mention the model but appears to be a pre-b stay C40 in Art Decor with 9 speed Dura Ace/Ultegra mix. Appears to be a Mk2 given the threadless 1" Precisa fork.

Guessing it's a 61/62cm from the freuler extensions. Looks to be in really nice shape and guessing given the lack of detail in the ad there might be some wiggle room.

I think you're looking at a threaded Precisa fork with a Record headset and threadless adapter. I'm guessing Mk 1. Still a very nice ride.

Dang. Well, you never know if the winning bidder would have gone to $3k to get it...

Especially since the ad says the original owner was 6'4".

Yep, astute observation!
