Speedvagen Disc OG

Just got the word from Vanilla that my bike is all done. I was the first to place a deposit so I got a free color upgrade. I’ve always been a fan of the Lavender from Vanilla so I went for that. The 2019 colors were another option but I chose otherwise. I upgraded to Di2 Dura Ace, ENVE 3.4 ARs, and a couple other upgrades. My fit wasn’t far off from stock geo. Here’s the teaser shot I got
:

I hope the sizing on the image is OK.

Enjoy. I really like that colour all the way back to fat city.

Can't wait to hear about the ride.

Dat's my color! Looking forward to seeing the full result (and curious if they painted your bike similarly to mine...)

Your bike looks amazing! I told them Lavender so that’s actually considered Lilac. I’m excited to pick the bike up but weather forecast shows rain and rain. I didn’t go custom so I couldn’t get fenders added.

Finally had some time to take a few pics. I meet with my fitter next week to dial in the fit. We'll be removing hopefully half of those spacers. Sacha doesn't do fits for OGs.

if you know your saddle height and setback, why meet with fitter? you can play with the spacer son your own.

bike came out beautifully. the lavender is a really nice colour.

How would you *know* your saddle height and setback if you never met with a fitter?

The fitter has a setup where you pay for a year of fittings. I was originally fit on a retul (fitter bike). I'm meeting with them again to make sure the fit transferred correctly or needs to be adjusted.

Got it...that's a pretty great option.

if I had that available i would explore my "fit range" and get some help determining the some fit scenarios - early season, mid-season, power bias, comfort bias.

presumably the OP knew that before ordering since the mast is cut to owner spec. then again perhaps not? how do they handle that with OG edition?

Vanilla has you send in a current bike fit form that has setback, height, saddle to bar distance, drop, etc. That way they can cut the mast and spec which stem to put on.
