Is there a trick to cleaning hubs?

and at the spoke beds....

a light spray with WD40 then get an old toothbrush on the job. Clean up with a soft cloth.

1: Dry tooth brush.

2: Dawn and water, rinse.

3: WD40 and good rinse and wipe.

4: Simple Green or the like if you absolutely have to. Make sure it's well diluted and rinse well.

I think I got a box of a dozen on ebay for pretty cheap. And I think I have 10 of those left -- after giving one away

I typically use a clean dedicated soft paintbrush in detergent.
One of those "pointy" tampico brushes look like they would be great.
Will have to check hardware stores when we can go shopping again.
