What is this MTB frame?

I once saw a Nishiki at an MTB race that looked similar. That was in the mid-90's so memory may be a little fuzzy on that one lol.

the seat collar looks different but the reverse facing dropouts are on both.

My guess is an Ellison. Don’t see those too often. Might have actually been built by Ventana.
