Shimano FD with Force 22 shifters??

Looking at a SC Stigmata, but learned mechanical FDs from SRAM won't work, as they lack the integrated housing stop that's necessary with the cable routing.

So, looking for advice on which Shimano FD plays nice with Force 22 shifters.

I used a Shimano 9 speed XT FD with Red 2x shifters. It worked perfectly.

I have used a cx-70 with both apex and force shifters with no issue.

Great...thanks!

Should I assume Ultegra and/or DA also work? Do specific versions work better than others...7900 vs 9000, etc?

The only versions with the integrated housing stop are the current gen R9100/R8000/R7000.

It'll probably shift okay, but you'll lose the 'Yaw' feature. To account for the lack of a trim stop in the shifter, the Yaw derailleur cage turns to reduce chain rub on the derailleur cage when cross-chaining.,

That’s what I am afraid of. I really like the yaw feature.

Maybe I look more closely at the Ibis Hakka MX...I was torn between that and the Stig originally.

Could you use a clamp on cable stop for the FD?
