SEROTTA Legend Ti

I'd been looking for a sloper Legend Ti for quite some time...this one I bought (F/HS only) right here off the Forum (Cool Planet Bikes). It currently has a Parlee- logo'd Kestrel EMS Pro fork (covered with an "S" decal) but will be replaced with an incoming F3 fork after it gets logo'd and clear coated. I had Bill Holland trim a few mm off the long head tube. I love this bike. 9100/Zipp/FZ's, SMP, all the usual.

Do you have an unlimited supply of Fizik silicon seatpost thingies?

Agreed. I would like to try a Legend some day, but not really fond of the color selection on this one. I would definitely change out the bar tape and tires to something other than blue. To each their own. The important thing is if Jeff likes the look and the ride.

I like the color. My biggest issue with this bike is that it's way too big to fit me. Also, it seems that Legend's with Ti rears are pretty uncommon.

I'm using what I have on hand. I always, as time, goes by, change out this and that and I'm sure this bike'll be no exception.

Love the Indy paint scheme. One of my favorites Serotta offered. Great bike!

You sure are willing to take risks with colors most would not, makes me wonder why your Vet is just black ???

Maybe add some blue walls, blue stripes and blue steering wheel cover to the Vet ?

.

I would if it was orange & blue, but with 'Vettes, black-on-black is the ONLY color combination you want...with a few red accents, of course...and there's no risk-taking involved, not with bicycles. If there's something unsatisfactory, it can quickly and easily be changed...and there's the beauty and the fun.

Tell us about the headtube trim - easy procedure? Paint still okay?

Congrats on finding one that works!
