Panaracer Agilest
New tires from Panaracer. 700x25 Light supposedly weighs 170g.
$60/tire (Tubeless is $80). Pre-orders ship 8/22. I might have to try a pair. https://www.panaracerusa.com/pages/agilest |

As much as I like Panaracer, at $80 a pop for tubeless, I’m gonna stick to my Veloflexes which I can score for about half of that.

I wonder if they are replacing the EVO line.
Excel might carry them once they come out.

Yes, it says they are the replacement for the Evos. To be an improvement they are going to be some great tires. Been riding the Evos since they came out.

To the folks riding Panaracers... I'm now looking for replacements for these.
Panaracer Competition SX. Do you think the Agilest tires will be the answer, and probably worth waiting for? Or is the outgoing EVO line almost as nice?

I think it maters most if you want to ride that bike with new tires or the ancient ones in your picture. The latest Evos will be great.

These are two or three years old. Lovely tires, 185 g in the 28 mm version. Sticky and supple, and reasonably durable for what they are. And only one puncture in ~ 1500 miles. NLA , so looking for a suitable replacement. These are the only Panaracer branded tires I’ve ridden, and they are impressive enough that I’m wondering about their other offerings. Good to hear you think the EVOs are great as well.

The side wall looks crunchy in your picture. Figured they are old.

I don’t think the Evos came close to the competition sx. I have and ride both (stocked up and hoarded the SX). Hoping the new ones are similar. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I don't need these, but want them. Pricing seems fair too.
Favorite commute tires of all time are paselas, and I've enjoyed any Panasonic branded tires including RH and ultra dynamico most recently. |

I'm tubeless on all of my current road bikes and haven't found any tubeless tire that comes close in feel to those Competition SX Evos or a Corsa (the tubeless Corsa is not the same as the cotton casing clinchers - it's much heavier). But, I have a set of the new Panaracer Agilest tires coming in - will see how they compared to GP5000 S TRs or, my current favorite, the Schwalbe Pro One TTs. |

Anyone have the new versions and can share their experience so far?

They actually seem to be too light!
I also wonder haow the durability will be affected. We have too many flints on the road where I live. |
