After two years of Covid delays, I finally did The Rift. It’s a very solid day on the bike, and also spectacular. I kept hearing people say “wow” all day long as we admired the views.
Last year’s weather was poor, but this year it was near perfect (for Iceland).

Good organization. Highly recommended.

My daughters and I just got back from 10 days in Iceland. Amazing country, with scenery that rivals Banff/Lake Louise and Patagonia! Usually, when I travel, I envy the folks I see on bikes, but not so much this time. To say that the roads are "severely washboarded" may be an understatement. But oh do I envy those of you hardy enough to take them on!!!
