Rebuild kit for 2013 Rockshox SID?
So many versions of kits out there! Is this the correct one?
https://www.worldwidecyclery.com/pro...ll-service-kit How hard is this to do for a DIYer? The instruction manual is quite detailed. I rebuilt and modified the forks on a Suzuki SV650 years ago. Or should I send the fork out to a specialist? |

The kits have been ginned down to 2, a single air and dual air
Easy job if you all the tools, oils and grease. A good clip puller makes the job easier. Fork seal tool is a nice touch. Slather everything in slick honey. I use a syringe to measure/insert oil in the open bath before the lowers are completely installed. More you do it, faster it goes |

Good advice!
Anyone know if the older 28mm SID forks can be rebuilt with parts still available today? At my lighter weight, I always liked the old ones, and have two that could use rebuilding. |

The wipers will be easy, rest not so much. You may have to pull it apart and head to the plumbing aisle for o rings
