Kirk owners

Hoping to pickup #9 which just came up for sale. Really close to my fit numbers and will be a great platform for me to confirm if an Onesto with 1" tubes and 1" fork is going to be my next bike.

With the DA 9000 brakes listed at 25mm max is it safe to assume a true 28mm tire (measure 27-28mm) would fit?

With the 415mm chain stays and steel fork I would assume so but.....with a 2003 vintage frame, 25 was today's 32.

Have also PM'ed DK.

Thanks in advance and for Sailorboy for being the facilitator.

I had a 2005 Kirk that fit 32mm tires under short reach Shimano brakes.

Ditto, my wife has a 2nd hand Kirk from ~'07 that clears (true) 31s. It was built for a big dude and has beefy chainstays with minimal indents, otherwise would easily clear 32s.
