Pereira rohloff rando

Got this frameset a bit ago, then got the rohloff hub used. After that, build stalled out. Recently I got motivated. I decided to go with some black parts based partially on my dislike of the way the original build looked and the black rohloff hub.

Basically the frame is a 650x42 rando frame with custom front rack, rear light, stem and internal wire routing. Brakes are matac raid. Frame has paragon sliding dropouts and routing for rohloff.

So far I have-

Hammered brass Honjos from sim works
King headset
Mavic seatpost
C17
Son28, rohloff hub, polished atlas rims
Edelux light
Nuovo record cranks w/ 121mm white industries bottom bracket (relatively low Q factor way to get 53mm chainline required)
RAID brakes that need rebuild
Nitto t cages
Compass maes bars
NOS shimano rx100 aero levers or gutted chorus ergos
Mash ziess lens cap ahead cap(https://shop.mashsf.com/products/mas...s-x2-5mm-1-1-8)
WTB horizons (might fit) pana pari moto 650x42

Needed-

Rebuild brakes, maybe ano them black
144mm black chainring (maybe)
Fit fenders
Make handlebar bag and decauler
Decide on bar tape
MKS touring pedals
Build wheels
Black ano rear light
Wire up lights

These rando build are fun and also not fun

Old build

Fenders

Random pic of current position in shop

Expensive wheel pile

I gotta say that I do like the original build, but I do understand the need to shake things up.

Wishing I had the time to disappear for hours on end for long rando ride (or what I think that a rando ride is); so yeah, keep on building.

Looks like more coverage on front than honjos I've seen or used. What model? Or Is that a rear fender on front?

man I loved this thing when it was up for sale. I forget if it fit me, maybe too large, but still think of it as one that got away. Excited to see how your version turns out. Sounds a bit like my rando build progress which is also a mix of old and new.

You can get an adaptor that would let you shift the rohloff with your chorus ergos provided you still have the shifty bits.

I'm looking forward to both build pics and a ride report. Really eager to hear your opinions of the Rohloff.

Terrible photo of current build mock up
I have no uncluttered walls in my apartment

Thinking of city bars instead of drops but not sure yet
