Cool Bikes You've Seen in the "Wild."

Saw this lugged carbon Serotta at the Lakeshore Trader Joe's. The owner was gracious enough to pose for some pics (or at least have his bike pose) He evidently spruced it up with a Super Record drivetrain. I think the colors are fantastic.

Yesterday was GFNY. Rode back from my ride on 9W (which is part of the race route). Saw plenty of baller bikes (not all of which were particularly cool) and plenty of cool bikes (not all of which were particularly baller). On the cool front, plenty of old and new sevens, fireflys, lugged colnagos. On the baller front, I think a Wilier Filante SLR with SR12 EPS has to take the cake.

No pictures though :/

That’s a beauty.

Ran across a school bus yellow breadwinner the other day that was really cool.

I saw a De Anima on the road while on my inaugural Rock Lobster ride. I like my bike more, but I’ve never seen a De Anima before - pretty pimp!

There's a guy around here who has a nice red Hampton. There are a lot of cool bikes out on the road here, but this is one that sticks in my mind. Carbon Hollands are also really cool to see out on the road. Since one of my friends has a carbon/ti one, so they are less exciting to see since I see this one every weekend. Something else cool I see are California Masis.

Just in general, I always try to tell at least one person during my rides that they have a cool bike.

What makes you feel better than a compliment about your bike? (Lord knows I don't get them about my looks!!)

Ah-hoo!

Oh, and there's a BEAUTIFUL Merlin Cielo that's been painted a gorgeous black that I see occasionally on rides. I've yet to have a conversation with the woman that rides it, but I'd love to find out more about it. You rarely see a painted Merlin.

Another Warren fan! One of the coolest concerts I've ever seen!!! He finished his cigar and bottle at the same time, concert over.

I spotted a Renovo a week or so ago. It definitely stood out from the crowd.
